A shimmering 1850’s green and mauve changeable silk dress. The fabric turns from green to mauve depending on the light reflection. The fabric has a stripe pattern. The bodice has piping on the shoulders, armscyes and waist. The front waist has tight pleating. The sleeves have a short cap over sleeve and bell shaped cuff line. The sleeves are trimmed with dark green velvet. The bodice is line with cotton and has a front hook and eye closure. The skirt is attached to the bodice with cartridge pleating. The skirt is fully lined with cotton. The dress is in very good and sturdy condition. There are no splits or holes in the fabric. There are circles of underarm discoloration. Bust 32 Waist 24 Skirt length 37.
