A graceful 1860’s lilac and white check silk antique dress. The bodice has full pagoda styled sleeves. The sleeves are trimmed with self fabric that has a fringed edging. The bodice has a pointed front and back. The neck, armscyes and waist are piped. The bodice is lined with cotton and has a black velvet front button closure. The skirt is fully lined and has a long back sweep. The dress comes with a pair of extra sleeves and trimming. The dress is in very good and sturdy condition. There is light underarm discoloration on the inside lining only. Some modern snaps have been added but can easily be removed. The skirt waistband has a couple of minor splits and there is a small split by one of the buttons. Bust 32 Waist 26 Front skirt length 42 Back length 53 Width at hemline 166.
